Colorado State University To Host Royal Vista Equine Speakers

Equine Industry Leadership (EIL) Graduate Students are proud to be hosting a series of invited guests and equine professionals on the CSU campus throughout the Fall and Spring semesters.   On November 27, 2007, Royal Vista Equine employees, Jake Dahl and Dr. Ryan Coy will be on the CSU campus to visit with Equine Sciences undergraduate and graduate students interested in the management of equine breeding operations and reproductive physiology.  Jake Dahl is currently the farm manager at Royal Vista and Dr. Coy is one of the managing veterinarians.  Both Jake and Ryan are proud CSU graduates.

Royal Vista is a successful and nationally recognized breeding facility. Their clients span the industry and include racing Quarter Horses, Saddlebreds, Morgans, Paints, and Warmbloods.  Royal Vista offers an array of services including breeding management, embryo transfer, embryo vitrification, and shipped and frozen semen.  They stand several well known stallions including Cats Moonshine, Redwood Creek, and Visionarian. This seminar series is intended to educate and guide Equine and Animal Science students as they search to identify their career goals. Jake and Dr. Coy will be visiting with students about their respective jobs, the industry as a whole, advice for students interested in working for a breeding operation, and opportunities available to CSU students at Royal Vista.
