John Deere is the “Official Equipment Sponsor” of the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, announced November 21, by the World Games 2010 Foundation.  The Games will be held September 25-October 10, 2010 in Lexington, Kentucky.

As a partner for the 2010 World Equestrian Games and long-time supporter of the global equine community, John Deere provides a number of products for both the professional and enthusiast.  These innovations make work more efficient, keeping the welfare of horses at the forefront with quality products that are safe and take all considerations of these animals into account.

At a meeting of the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Friday, Chairperson, Her Royal Highness Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein of Jordan commented on the new partnership.

“On behalf of the Fédération Equestre Internationale, we are pleased to have John Deere partnering with our sport as the official equipment provider of the 2010 FEI Alltech World Equestrian Games.”

John Deere becomes the latest top name brand corporate sponsor of the 2010 Games.

“Our goal has always been to partner with the top global brands in each sponsorship category,” said John Long, Chairman of the World Games 2010 Foundation and CEO, United States Equestrian Federation. “Having the strength of the John Deere brand behind our event is tremendously exciting for us.”
