American Saddlebred Horse Association now on Facebook

American Saddlebred Horse Association now on Facebook

Lexington, Kentucky - A fan page has now been created for the American Saddlebred Horse Association, on the popular social networking site, Facebook.  The fan page includes an overview of the organization, including an explanation of its mission to promote the Saddlebred breed.

The fan page also offers media such as Saddlebred videos, as well as photo albums from ASHA’s “Saddlebred Moments” gallery.  The page also includes a “Mini-Feed,” which displays any recent page activity, such as the addition of any new photos or videos.

Another feature of the Facebook fan page is a “wall,” onto which comments can be posted by those having active Facebook accounts, and who have added themselves as a fan of the page on their Facebook profile.  Although an account is required to post comments on the wall, the page itself is accessible and can be viewed by those not having accounts, including all of the photo and video media therein.

The ASHA Facebook fan page can be viewed at the following location:

The creation of the Facebook fan page is yet another effort by ASHA in its continuing mission to promote the Saddlebred breed.  The fan page serves as an additional medium through which existing Saddlebred enthusiasts can enjoy and share their passion for the breed, while also gaining potential exposure for the breed among individuals less familiar or unfamiliar with the Saddlebred world.
