Equestrian Land Conservation Resource Welcomes New Equestrian Partners

Equestrian Land Conservation Resource Welcomes New Equestrian Partners

The Equestrian Land Conservation Resource (ELCR) is pleased to welcome four new members into its Equestrian Partner program: Sonoma County Horse Council, Lynwood Equine, Guardian Horse Bedding and Kentucky Equine Education Project.

The Sonoma County Horse Council (SCHC) is located in Santa Rosa, California. SCHC represents the multi-faceted equestrian community in Sonoma County.  Its many service areas include placement of rescued horses, emergency disaster assistance, monitoring of horse-related regulations, facilities protection, promotion of additional trails and open space, and education and information for its members and the public at large. Find out more about SCHC by visiting http://www.sonoma-horse-council.com/.

Lynwood Equine specializes in ecologically friendly flooring systems for use in landscaping and equine applications.  EquiTerr and EquiTerr Pro have become premiere horse flooring products of choice for stalls, turnouts, paddocks, round pens, aisle ways and arenas.  The company also offers its expertise in the complete construction of arenas. For more information visit http://lynwoodequine.com.

Guardian Horse Bedding offers premium horse bedding products in the U.S. and Canada.  Through research of animal bedding manufacturing methods and extensive field testing, Guardian addresses the problems found in traditional bedding products, such as dust and allergen levels. The company prides itself for quality customer service, timely shipping and affordable pricing. See http://www.guardianhorsebedding.com.

Kentucky Equine Education Project (KEEP) strives to increase awareness of the benefits of Kentucky's horse economy and to promote jobs and economic opportunities for Kentuckians through the Commonwealth's world-class horse industry. Among its many initiatives, KEEP works with youth across the state in order to foster continued interest in all breeds and disciplines of horses. To learn more about KEEP visit http://www.horseswork.com/index.php.

The Equestrian Partners Program is a growing coalition of organizations from across the country that are committed to helping ELCR fulfill its mission of conserving land and access for all equines.  Despite their diverse interests and activities, our Partner members recognize that with land in the U.S. being developed at the rate of 250 acres per hour, the future of our lives with horses as we know it know is in dire jeopardy. If your organization would like to join our national efforts to save land for horses, visit www.elcr.org, or call (859) 455-8383 for more information.
