Heavy Rains Cause Horse Park To Take Precautions

Following heavy rains late last week, the Kentucky Horse Park temporarily relocated some of its resident horses to higher ground. A total of 15 horses were moved.

 

Nearly 200 of the Park’s 1,224 acres were under water early Friday after heavy rains Thursday night. The waters had subsided by late Friday evening and the horses have been returned to their permanent paddocks.
